A height to high to handle...

I was in the family room when I hear Calli screaming at the top of her lungs for help. As I'm running towards her I'm thinking, for the first time ever, I'm going to be calling 911! As soon as I see her a foot off the ground on the second step up I start laughing, she realized she was not in danger and even stayed a couple seconds longer to smile for me ;)

The middle of the week comes so quickly...

Trucks, Trains and Automobiles...

Today we played with every form of transportation toy we have in our house. The train even came by the back of the house a couple of times working in perfectly with what we were doing. They had fun but I'm sure the girls will appreciate seeing all the dolls and baby stuff out tommorrow :)

A cowgirl and a horse...

Last week the kids were having fun pretending to have a horse and horsey rides... Nate's Grandpa is the king of fun little sayings or games that no one has ever heard of. So I taught them one about a horse ride that has different gaits etc. We had fun and here is Calli finding the best pretend horse she could have found and a couple seconds (after I got the picture :) I made her find a safer horse, one that might not hurt her ;)

We are blessed to be a blessing....

Wigs, Letters and Dancing... Oh my....

The Princess' ready for the world!
For Grace's birthday (last night) we had McD's... I saved the boxes and they spent part of the morning filling them with letters and dumping them out.
I think this is my favorite picture so far! They are rockin' out to tunes while I get lunch ready.

Side Note: I told the kids they had a few more minutes to play and then it was time for bed. Today Calli told me, "I'm to busy to take a nap Jackie."

Once again this job cracked me up...

Habits are hard to break...

She just finished a bottle and soon... she's got her little tongue sticking out...

She's a cute girl with a cute habit!

All good times must come to an end...

Me: "Calli it's time for your nap, can you come here please?"

Calli: "I'm good Jackie, I'm good."

Not able to pursuade me (and rubbing her eyes) she was tucked into bed and asleep in about five minutes which was a "good" thing :)

Circle of trust...

Naomi and Calli either want to sit on the same seat or in different rooms.... I'm glad that most of the time it's the same seat :)

Calli was disturbed by Abe's hair so here she is "fixing it"...
I'm glad most of these things happen in the kitchen where the camera is ;)

Happy, Happy girls...

Calli loved coloring herself blue this morning... thankfully she stopped for a moment and said "Look at me Jackie" and then I was able to remind her that she is cute just the way she is and that markers are for paper. Audrey definately eats way more than her little body shows! She's loving Nate's wonderful chicken salad (which he made this morning and took to work and was nice enough to leave some for us). She's on her second helping going on her third :)

I had to blog this really quickly because it just happened while the kids were eating and I was posting the other pics....

You can't see Abe but he's in the "space ship" next to Calli's. Naomi's down the row too...
Audrey... (not liking contained places unless it's her bed :) decided reading was a better option for her!

I am rolling out the pizza dough for lunch and Calli comes and sits on a stool across from me...


Me: "Calli, what's your favorite kind of pizza?"

Calli: "My favorite kind is my mom's and dad's."

Me: "You like your mom and dad's pizza?"

Calli: "Yea, I like my mom and dad."

I can be anything I want to be...

Two Peas in a Pod...

Yesterday: While the big kids were doing homework on the table (Audrey and Abe were sleeping) they escaped under the table for some uninterrupted play time... Today: Naomi loves to be at the sink washing things so Calli joined her, once again Audrey and Abe are sleeping :)

I want to be a big kid!

Here's Naomi and Calli playing with Hannah's "Spell It" game... it wanted them to spell "thunder" correctly. They kept trying! I kept asking Calli to smile and she kept raising her chin :) Today, one of Audrey's favorite toys was Josiah's plastic sword. It's as big as her!

She was not bugged by anyone today, smart girl :)

Giggles and laughter...

Audrey giggled about everything this morning... from getting her bottle, to playing, to having her diaper changed... it was a riot!

Story:

Naomi and Calli are sitting in the kitchen coloring while the others are sleeping... Naomi does something funny, unintentionally which means she's embarressed... Calli laughs...

Naomi (pleading):"Please don't laugh at me Calli."
Calli: "Ohhh Naomi, I'm sorry. I love you."
Naomi: "That's so nice, thank you."

Me (smiling to no end, trying not to laugh in front of them :) They are to cute!

A tear is worth a thousand socks...

Abraham pulled off one of her socks while she was sitting in the chair eating lunch.... she had two perfect teardrops (one for each eye) that stayed right above her cheek the entire time she ate. I tried to get a pic that had them both but you can see the one very well. :)

Yesterday they had fun playing house while the babies were sleeping... Today we have our house decorated for the twins b-day. Audrey is cracking me up! She loves it and will point and talk about all the decor in her baby babble...

Calli says...

Me: "Calli what did you do yesterday at your friends house?"

Calli: "I eat there!"

Me (laughing): "Did you do anything else?"

Calli: "I play with Lexus (Alexis)!"

Me: "The car?"

Calli: "Hmmm, Yeah."
